The he First Oman Psychiatric Society International Conference 2026 is the result of the dedicated efforts of our organizing committee, the guidance of the Oman Psychiatric Society, and the generous support of our sponsors and partners. This conference represents an important milestone in our shared mission of advancing excellence in psychiatric practice. At the heart of our conference identity is the brain, representing psychiatry and the complexity of human experience, clinical judgment, and patient care. Interwoven with it is the DNA strand, symbolizing scientific discovery and the biological foundations that continue to shape modern psychiatric practice. Together, they reflect a central principle of our field: excellence in psychiatry emerges when scientific research and clinical practice advance in harmony. We are honored to host distinguished speakers from across the Arab world and the international community, whose clinical expertise and academic leadership will present the latest developments in psychiatric research and practice. Seventeen July will be dedicated to pre-conference workshops, while eighteen July will mark the main conference day, featuring plenary lectures delivered by distinguished international experts in psychiatry. It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Muscat for the first international psychiatry conference hosted by the Oman Psychiatric Society. We look forward to an inspiring exchange of knowledge, collaboration, and dialogue that will contribute to strengthening psychiatric care in Oman and beyond.
